The Book Hippie gets a LIBRARY
I am so very excited to announce that I have been working on converting my spare room in my house into MY LIBRARY! What a DREAM come true!! Props to Mr. Book Hippie for the idea and the love of my love of books.
So first up painting…….I LOATHE to paint.
Silly me I let my teenage daughter paint the room RED when she was growing up and lucky me I now got to paint over it.
OYE VEY.
This was NO easy task! UGH. But STILL SHE PERSISTED and wahla……
Two walls grey, two walls green and a great big MESS. Enough work for the day and rest for the weary was to be had. Until the next work day when SHELVES went up. Mr. Book Hippie put them up and I fell INLOVE. With them BOTH.
The next task…..FILL THEM UP!! I decide to leave my TBR pile out of the shelves….. Also I had to decide how else to decorate the room. So MUCH fun! So first BOOKS.
Books!!! On the side is all my board books and a stuffed pig puppet for kiddos who visit, especially my grandson.
My son made me a picture at school. It proudly hangs next to the bookcase.
Mr. Book Hippie found me a picture that looks like me.
Finally a chair, some tables, lamps and a rug that matches my logo, fun enough!
All my book adventures will be so much easier now that I have a book space. So so very grateful.
