Part of our Traveling Book Club selection this quarter is this highly popular YA book. It took me a bit to get into it but then I could not put it down! It sucks you right in. It gives you all the ‘feels’ you’re fighting for Noah and Jude to be happy and at peace and you want for a wonderful happy ending! This book is a also wonderful peek of what the lives of so many kids I mentor go through. It helps create understanding and empathy. If you haven’t read a young adult novel in a while or have not spent time with this age group I highly recommend you read this book. At the very least you’ll have something to talk about and recommend to this age group. Me personally, I enjoy YA books, as do many adults I know. The writing is so superb.
