I thoroughly loved these three books. Reading all three together gave them all such depth and differing opinions of the same events. It was seriously just lovely! I very much enjoyed the learning of this time period and have added so many books I want to read now about these people and this time period in Africa! Such a complicated enchanting woman Beryl was. I loved all our Sunday discussions with my fellow buddy readers and as always I gleaned so much more reading this way! Now I must get the movie Out of Africa and see it. I’m not sure what to find about Beryl in movie form, but I am going to search it out!
