Just finished this. I have to say I was very disappointed. I’m not sure of the feel for this book. It left me feeling bleh. I have seen mixed reviews, so I believe feeling the way I do is on par. Also I have recently read such a excellent full of heart graphic novel with a similar story, called
YO, Miss: A graphic novel by Lisa Wilde.
This book I read in one setting. It was so wonderful to read. The way it is written, the artwork, and the quotes are phenomenal. I think all high schoolers and teachers should read it. The book would also make a great discussion book for class or book club.
If you’ve never read a graphic novel this is a good one to start with.
