The feminist books are research for me. After watching GOOD GIRLS REVOLT on Amazon and then finding out that there will be no more, I decided to get the book to read the real story. I also wanted to find more on the subject. Women’s rights became a huge issue when I was little, and these women who fought so very hard for basic rights that myself, my daughter and all women deserve so much gratitude. Reading and learning about their sacrifices to get us the rights we take for granted is the least I can do.
I have some FLUFF on the list as well, to keep me sane. It’s a little like a good piece of chocolate to eat and savor. I usually read 2-3 books at a time and rounding them out is usually a good idea for me.
The rest of the books are either recommended by a fellow reader, the librarian or I saw the book on bookstagram, in the news, or in someone hands and figured I would give it a read.
I’ll keep you updated!
Happy Reading 2017.
Book on.
Peace.
