My Traveling Book Club books arrived today! THREE of them! HA. Six of us women read 12 books in 12 weeks, sortofanyway. We have 6 new books in rotation every quarter that get thrown in at our quarterly meet up. Originally this was just supposed to be 6 in 12 weeks but people fell behind. Therefore about 12 are in rotation currently. Our first priority is always the current books. We write in the books and use sticky notes, it’s fun to see what others thought as you are reading along!!! We all have different color pens so you can see who thought what as a bonus to your reading. Sometimes we even put notes to each other in the book.
These three arrived.
I have heard of NONE of them, which should be fun. Typically our books are lighter easier reads. Our age range is 25-75. So our discussions and thoughts are always interesting. We are also of differing faiths and places in life.
I tried to start French Gardener last night, but could not get into it so I tried A Memory of Violets and am liking it so far! PHEW.
Off to read and use my purple pen!!
