KIDS OF APPETITE

This book starts with a quote from ‘The Outsiders’ by SE Hinton, a favorite read of mine, and actually the movie is good too. So that made me want to dig in to this book right away.
I received a ‘sample’ booklet of this at Bookcon in May and was intrigued. I finally got around to getting it at our library (it’s been out a month) and read it in a couple of settings. This is classified as TEEN or YA, however I believe it’s enjoyable for adults as well. I don’t want to spoil the story but it is told from different characters views, which makes a good story. It’s a journey of figuring out first love, grief, feeling powerful and powerless and how you can take a journey to figure out happenings of life. I will be looking to read the other popular book by this author Mosquitoland.
New 50th anniversary edition of The Outsiders out November first.
