My favorite place in the entire world is Chicago. My favorite place in Chicago is the courtyard at Fourth Presbyterian Church. The architecture and the feeling of compete PEACE when I’m there makes my soul so happy. I come away feeling fresh and nourished every single time.
This church does amazingly wonderful things. Something near and dear to my heart is their tutoring program. So in the madness of the CUBS VICTORY!!! we set off on a commuter train carrying a tote of books to donate to their library that the kids use for tutoring and homework.
The sheer JOY and lovely reception of our little donation of books made me tear up. Such a wonderful way to spread JOY and LOVE in the current culture of so much hate……our hope and prayer is that the children get immense joy from these books. Blessings.
