Dropped off my child to school reminding him that no matter what, we are peace and love. No matter what anyone says to you peace.and.love.
“I know mom …..”
Last night I made a new chicken pot pie recipe. It looked so yummy and pretty I thought hmmm……I should take a pic to post on instagram…..OH WAIT I have that fun Henny book about the chicken who was born with arms! I read it to my son’s Montessori Class last year and they just LOVED it and the message of being different is okay. So I quickly retrieved it and took this pic.

After we ate YUM. We started to watch the election results come in…..
This is what I was left thinking at 1 am
I woke up and made coffee…..I have delicious coffee from Eataly in Chicago and a new wonderful mug with my LOGO from my love that arrived yesterday via the mail.
My child woke up we explained the election to him, the process, civics 101 with breakfast. We assured him of his safety and the safety of those he loves. We talked about how we will be peace and love to people always. Just like everyday usually is. But ESPECIALLY today.
I arrived back home with my grandson who is visiting and took out the Peddles book by the same author as the Henny book from last night. We read it together and then again with the pig puppet I have. The story is about HOPE. It is ZEN to read as a Nana. Just so much ZEN. I will teach all the generations under me PEACE, LOVE and HOPE. I will go HIGH. I will not sink LOW.
