I’ve wanted to read this book since it came out in 2015, February. I would check to put it on hold at the library, see the long wait and retry again. It unfortunately slipped my mind until last month. I have pre-looked at some of the beauty of the photos this amazing woman has taken. Other than that I have purposely stayed away from all press and interviews so that I can read it clean. The idea of having your camera and just taking pictures of war, love and your life is something I would love. To take in the moment, to find the right frame. To try to capture what you are feeling and actually seeing in that moment would, I think, be very gratifying. I’m sure I’ll end up purchasing the book! Which I should have just done in the first place! So page one. Reading starts in 5 …….4 ………3 ………..2…….
