Bookstore FUN

Independent Bookstore Success

Much fun was had this morning as I headed out to hit the local Indie bookstores!! Every single store had COFFEE, cookies and free swag. The booksellers were all so happy to see us, and we book lovers conversed about books and the hunt for favorites, among other things. I was especially happy to get the hardback very cool copy of Rainbow Rowell’s Kindred Spirits for my daughter who is a HUGE fan of hers! SCORE!! AND it was FREE! So very much fun!! The pictures are of  some of the bookstores and my take: pins, stickers, bookmarks, book bag, Golden Book swag for their 75 year anniversary, and a stack of books! The stack includes: two different copies of Heidi for my son who is collecting every edition, The Works of Nathaniel Hawthorne for me, Curious George goes to a Bookstore for my library, Mary Poppins Opens the Door for my son, a copy of Alice in Wonderland I did not own, A Tale of Two Cities for my child’s Ambleside Charlotte Mason School, Who Was Anne Frank for me, Cyrano De Bergerac for my classics shelf in my home library, Grimm’s Fairy Tales for fun, Girl With a Pearl Earring so I could own a copy, Rainbow Rowell’s World Book Day 2016 copy of Kindred Spirits for my daughter AND The Treasures of Weatherby an ARC for my ARC collection……….PHEW.

Wonderful way to spend a Saturday!

Peace.
