I’m very excited to read this book. I have enjoyed reading books about FDR and this time period. The fact that Marguerite LeHand “Missy” is considered the FIRST FEMALE chief of staff, mostly overlooked, is also a huge draw for me. This book may go in the FEMINIST reading category. This is BOOK EIGHT in my 20 Books of Summer!
I throughly enjoyed reading this book. This was an amazing story and woman that I knew nothing about. How sad. I would like to believe that Missy was a feminist at heart. What a devoted woman. Our country is certainly better for it.
