I can’t recall reading this as a child or knowing the stories from this book. I do know it is skipped by a lot of people. It is supposedly the second book of the nine book series of Little House on The Prairie. WE are reading it THIRD, oops, because that’s how it was listed on our reading schedule!
At any rate we are enjoying it and it is a sweet of story as the rest of the books in this series. We are again taken by the extreme amount of detail written and portrayed in these books. Wonderful history to discover for all ages!
