For a couple of weeks this has been my ‘car’ book. I get stuck behind 20 minute coal trains almost daily and parent pick up and drop off is an hour reading five days a week. This was the perfect book for the occasion. Reading the essays one at a time was a wonderful part of my day. I had a lot of me too, oh girl I know and PREACH IT SISTER moments. Although I had this on loan from the library I will indeed need my own copy to reference back to and I need to get a copy for my daughter and niece……..
The clear voices in this book are amazing. The link to all of us women is seen so clearly. I especially liked parts discussing religion and the parts on friendship. Such a comforting refreshing read! I highly recommend it!
I will definitely be reading more on this topic in 2018.
