BOTM BUDDY READ
I read Side B and well……it was some better than Side A. I very much enjoyed the book discussion on this past Sunday and all the thoughts and predictions of where the book is going to take us. We shall see who is correct! A couple of us have threatened to throw the book if it ends poorly…. I may throw the book because it frustrates me, but we shall see. IF I were just reading for me, I would probably not finish it. Alas, I lead the group, so I will continue. The story is just blah for me, seems to need to be read by a younger person, but we have older people reading in the buddy read, and they are enjoying it. The love aspect in it just seems so immature to me, just no thank you. I may be reading so much classic literature it’s making these reads dull right now. Nevertheless, I read on, grateful that it is very easy to read, this is a bonus. There is as lot of music mentioned in the story and explanation of certain songs and composers as well and that part is certainly fun. There is even apparently a Spotify you can listen to, with all the music mentioned in the book, which I intend to look up and read Side C with. I still don’t think the book reads like 1988, and the story is just odd. Guess I will see what Side C brings.
Happy Reading.
