I found this beautiful stained glass image of Circe online. It resonates with me, it’s visceral.
Circe wrecked me. So so beautifully told. So much relatable emotions and experiences and life loves. I have always enjoyed mythology, reading this made me want to go back to reading and studying it more again. I did read the child’s version of The Odyssey while reading this and ended up researching in Mythology books and in the ‘big people’ Odyssey frequently while enjoying Circe. This is for sure going in my top reads for the year!
Our buddy read and discussion was vast and brought new light to every section of passage we read. It made the book so much larger to us all. I do enjoy a good book discussion!
