What I’ve finished…….I
November Road our BOTMBUDDYREAD it was so much more than I anticipated when we picked this book last spring. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and dissecting it for discussion questions. Very good writing. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Lilli DeJong I joined in the LilliRead on Litsy because of the description. Teen moms are in my life and for 28 years I was a volunteer doula for them and mentor. The past years I’ve visited once a month and brought food and books up to the teen mom center/house. So reading the book was really interesting for me. It was very well done and I am glad I read it. I would have never found it without Litsy so I am grateful. The back story was good as well and I would recommend it.
Clika’s Journey I hate so say I did not like. It was a big EH. I loved The Tattooist of Auschwitz, same author, but this book just feel flat. Too bad because I think it could have been done differently and really been good.
Rachael Ray 50 Memoir/Cookbook is excellent. I took it out of our library to check it out and now it is on my wishlist! It is such a beautiful book with lovely recipes. I very much enjoyed reading about her life and opinions to date.
Steve Nicks biography GOLD DUST WOMAN was just awful and so many easily figured out facts were WRONG!! Like her BIRTHDAY! OH MY WORD. What a horrible book. I am hoping someday she lets her journals be published.
A Woman of No Importance this is about a lady spy who helped win WWII a true story. It is really really good. I had to pay attention while reading so many details and it moved so quickly! Fascinating story,
KING LEAR What a wild ride. Reading this while watching the news is quite the adventure. I just cannot even……
Raggedy Ann and Andy stories with my morning coffee has been just wonderful. I enjoyed it very much for November.
