A mudlark is someone who scavenges in river mud for items of value, a term used especially to describe those who scavenged this way in London during the late 18th and 19th centuries.
I had no idea this even was a thing or happened. It is so very interesting to me. A bonus is the author is on Instagram and you can see all her items. So grateful to read this book and learn about this cool thing that goes on. What wonderful history and items found.
