Mom asked me to do proof read, and I was immediately “on it”. I love how this book starts off, with Elephant and Piggy. Elephant (aka Gerald) is feeling a little lonely until Piggy comes along with Andrea’s new book; right on, right?
The story Elephant and Piggy are reading tells a tale of two animals, Goat and Frog. They start a fun competition of who can be on the most things. Goat starts off by showing what he can do, then Frog follows up. This repeats throughout the book, but what I love about it, is the author keeps the fun and suspense in what feels like a few pages.
I think you’ll love this new book, it’s easy for new readers, and is one of those books that you can read over and over again and not get sick of it. Who will be on top of it all? Can you guess?
P.S There’s also a little surprise toward the end which I think all readers will enjoy.
