🇲🇾Malaysia is a Southeast Asian country occupying parts of the Malay Peninsula and the island of Borneo. It’s known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences. The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is home to colonial buildings, busy shopping districts such as Bukit Bintang and skyscrapers such as the iconic, 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers.

🇲🇾☕️Kopi O, a traditional black coffee beverage, is a staple in Malaysia and has become an integral part of the country’s culture. You can buy this drink on just about any corner of the city because it is so popular among the locals. Kopi O is essentially brewed coffee with sugar and can be consumed hot or cold. 

🇲🇾The Global Gender Gap index score for Malaysia in 2023 was 0.68, with a score of 1 being absolute parity and a score of 0 being absolute imparity. Malaysia has the one of the biggest gender gap in Southeast Asia.

🇲🇾Nasi lemak (Jawi: ناسي لمق‎) is a dish originating in Malay cuisine that consists of fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. It is commonly found in Malaysia, where it is considered the national dish.
