Midwife Monday on Tuesday

With the big birthday celebrations yesterday Midwife Monday moved to Tuesday this week.

This was a bit of a fail. I needed a different pan and more batter, so next time I will know better. However It was good and next time it will be amazing …

At any rate the sun is shining through the house and it is a good day.

Toad in the hole is a traditional British dish consisting of sausages in Yorkshire pudding batter, usually served with onion gravy and vegetables. Historically, the dish has also been prepared using other meats, such as rump steak and lamb’s kidney.
